What a few crazy weeks! My friends and I went to the National Park last weekend and spent 3 days exploring the jungle. We went trekking through the deep forest, went river rafting, visited the aborigine people and enjoy some local food. It was a wonderful experience being away from work and enjoying the company of good friends. Indeed a great adventure! *yeah *yo

At work, we were preparing for Chinese New Year already. That means finishing up whatever we’re doing and stop doing work by next week so that we can enjoy the CNY holidays. Hehe…everyone in my department is taking the whole week off during CNY, including myself. Can’t wait for the long break! I finally have time to do some shopping this weekend and boy did I shopped! I think I spent a few thousand bucks on clothes, shoes, bags, etc. *shocked *roll *scare *pull *music *ohno *laugh *hm *han *grin

Oh well. This is a once a year occasion anyway. :P ;;)

I love Christmas because of the year end long holidays and the smile on everyone’s face when they receive a gift is priceless. Of course, it is also the time when I refect back on the past 11 months and what I managed to accomplished. Really have to thank God for all his blessings and happiness. I couldn’t asked for a much better and exciting year! *xmas *yeah *yo :D *innocent *hug It is just another week before we enter 2012 and I know things will be even better and greater next year! Looking forward to a wonderful year ahead. *yo

Anyway, Christmas is not just the time for party, drinks and gifts but also the perfect time of the year to spread some cheer to those less fortunate. It is always in my heart to share some joy, no matter how small it is with kids. My friends and I organised a simple Christmas lunch for an orphanage last weekend and it was quite fun especially when they looked at the lovely log cake that I bought for them. Not a cheap cake btw. *cool

What a great weekend! Celebrated early Christmas with buddies and we were like kids again, unwrapping gifts from each other and arguing over a lousy or funny gift. Haha… nothing like a great big Chirstmas dinner, wine, presents and good company. *xmas

My friend and I went on a photography trip to a paddy field today where they are just starting to harvest the paddy. What a lovely sight! Although tiring, but it was a good experience. Loved the fresh seafood there as well and had my first try at shark meat! *wow

Random Photos: The wonders of a quiet weekend…

Was so super busy since coming back from Tibet. Thank God it is end of the year so I can finally have some time to settle down and relax! *yeah I think things will slow down from now on until after Chinese New Year which is great because I need to spend more time with family and friends! Looking forward to Christmas and CNY to catch up with good pals.

Anyway, had a wonderful and quiet home cook dinner yesterday with good company, great wine and a great chat. Nothing like spending a night doing nothing and talk about everything which is not work related! *yo

A good weekend doesn’t mean one needs to be out partying or shopping. It can mean just spending time at home, enjoying a simple meal and chatting about anything randomly. :D

Catching up with pals & spending $$$

Since coming back from Tibet, I spent the last 2 weekend catching up with my buddies.

Last weekend, I visited a good friend whose daughter is already 2 1/2 years old! OMG. I remember when she was just a small little baby and now she is all grown up and asking me to do coloring with her. Makes me feel so old. Worse still she made me watch Barney with her. *ohno But she is such a darling. I gave her a little jade bracelet I bought in Tibet. She loves it so much! :D

This weekend, I caught up with some pals over lunch and dinner and it was fun just hanging out and doing nothing. Haha…then, yesterday, had a really great chat session with another group of buddies over beer. Although the topic involves what everyone has been doing recently, it was indeed a great stress relieve session. Nothing like a great heart-to-heart talk when you know you can share anything and everything with these people. There is no doubt that we have 100% trust in each other and we know that we have each other’s support no matter what happen. *love

Since it is also a long weekend holiday, I also spent some time shopping and indeed I spent a lot of $$$. *han *han *hm

Books & CoffeeBought some new books and Starbucks Via which finally was launch here recently. Took them forever to reach here. Geez.
